Hi friends,

Can anyone please clarify what are the final payments we have to make to our real estate agents for the possession of the flats?
Following are the charges which I am asked to pay for the handover:

1. Maintenance fees-yearly = AED 8370.00

2. 2% Nakheel charges

3. 1% Land Registration fees
+ Land documentation & Misc. fees of AED 2500/-

Please clarify do I need to pay the 1% land registration charges now or it should be in the end after I pay all mortgage loan?

And what are the "Land documentation & Misc. fees = AED 2500" ?

Contact Nakheel email and phone make sure you deal with who over see International City this way you will know what you should be paying.

Do a search on this web board lots of posts where people have listed charges paid.

Nakheel will take the position that if you have paid too much in fees then that is your problem and why did you not clarify the charges with Nakheel in the first instance?

Unfortunately there are many examples where the Building owner /developer/Real Estate Agent have placed extra charges.

Go talk to Nakheel if you want to know the bottom line.
