The 2% to Nakheel you have to pay anyway.
The service charges you will get back once you sell the unit.
Sell it when is ready or rent it out and than sell it.
Don’t sell it for less than the yearly rent times 10

What do you mean by service charge I will get back?Do you mean the 11.36% of the total sqft I have paid?But why wll I get it back when it is included in the SP?Please enlighten.

I am so glad we have finally been given a date.the only thing is we dont get the keys untill the building owner says its ready for handover.I also want to come for the handover but am a bit reluctant to book my ticket just yet ,be sure to get the handover date before you book your ticket!

I have also received news from my agent and confirmed by Nakheel that the handover of IC1-P-17, is scheduled to take place on 3rd Of December 2007 subject to Building Owner paying all the amounts due to Nakheel. It might take a bit of time before the Building owner is ready to handover the Units to their respective purchasers. My agent is also demanding service charges, Land Registeration, administrative charges and various others ambigous charges besides balance of purchase amount. Looks like, after the 'snagging' period of one month, the hand over would be unlikely before January 2008. I plan to travel only after the Building Owner/Agent has confirmed to be in possession of the Building, that is P-17 in France cluster. Any one else has news about this Building to share?

I believe it is all delayed until 2008 becasue the services are not ready yet

The delivery will start very soon
Nakheel is already renting a studio for 42000 per year from 1st January

georgihh, i am in italy at the moment (until jan!) but my building owner has confirmed that i can collect keys anytime,

My friend you are in Italy I am in international city and France is not open yet
