I managed to get hold of sara this morning 6.30am GMT. ...as the usual story goes...'this morning..........'....everything always happens when you ring and always....this morning... this, this morning... that. Anyway, she said that she spoke to ARY just 'this morning' and they have been told to waive some charges. She is awaiting the amended version and said that she can not say anything until gets the new breakdown from ARY.Once she gets the breakdown she will forward a copy to me.

I also asked her if apartment was ready....another story...........we need to call the dubai registration dept and check if done, owners have to send all documents. I told her that I had already sent this to Ary OVER A YEAR AGO...or was it 2 years ago...?????......their number is ...97143903333....they had better not ask for any more money because i already paid the registration fee to ARY.

Did anyone else get this story from Sara???

Can others trying calling her on her direct number and as for the outcome of the meeting with ARY and then post the outcome on this thread. Hopefully we all get the same story and maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel afterall.......or not.................???

I have another story about the building handover to ARY the building contain my apartment not handed over yet to ARY i ask sara she says building owner cause delays i ask ARY they says nakheel causing this delays well only i can say this is unacceptable from both of them i paid 1 years ago all payment including registration fee everything and don't have my apartment till today and no confirmation from both when i wil ma apartment.

I am completly tired with this situation and i dont no what to do next???

I suggest all the investors not to invest in UAE anymore until they finished all the projects

Sorry to join you guys so late. I have also brought a studio in spanish cluster back in 2004. And went through the same ordeal as most of you guys. I believe you were lucky because i was dealing with ARY international as my agent. They are bunch of as.... who have no idea whats happening? So i was kept in dark. I manage to compose my thought in an email and send it to Nakheel and cc it to some british newspaper.

Dear Aaron Richardson,

I am writing you in regards with ARY International who played an active role in selling your apartments in Pakistan and my apartment in Spanish cluster.

ARY initially promised to obtain mortgages for all potential buyers after 30% down payment and using the same statement as marketing campaign. They did manage to sell all their apartments. But later denied the allegation that such promises were made and ask customer who already had made 30% payment to either make the other 70% or their 30% payment would be return after 10% deduction.

I was one of the few lucky ones who had available funds to pay the rest of 70%.

The ordeal didn’t stop their, after making 70% of the total payment, we were told to make another 20% before September 2006 as the apartment would be handed in September 2006. And the final 10% would be taken after possession of the apartment would be handed.

After making 90% payment, we were told due to more delays and apartment would be handed in February 2007.

Again in February 2007, a circular was issued in the newspaper, which stated 'if you don’t pay the final 10% of your apartment. Your contract will be cancelled and 90% return with 10% service charges'.

I had no other option but to fly to Pakistan and make the final 10% payment with hopes to get the possession of my apartment. Yet again, I was told the apartments are not ready till end of April.

Since I have made the full 100% payment for my apartment and we already at the end of May, I have no information over the possession of the apartment.

Further, I will like to bring it to your attention that this is not only the case with me but 1000's of other still waiting to get possession of their apartments.

I have cc the same letter to some of the British and Pakistani news paper, so other can be made aware of potential problems when dealing with Nakheel Group, Dubai and ARY Group Dubai.

I have also complaint to Sara and Gulf News Editor about the malpractices of ARY. Sara asked me to provide detail break down of charges. My apartment is handed over to ARY on April 1st and still i am not able to get the possession because of this extra charges. Aliya if you get response from Sara then let us know. It would be great help of us all.

I called Sara this morning & she said that ARY had told her that they had already informed the clients directly . I told her that they are lying as nobody told any change / reduction in charges .She promised to check with them again . I called ARY accounts department to confirm if any chage in payable charges......the list they faxed back still has delay charges as in favour of Nakheel . ARY is still trying to trick / cheat Nakheel also , making them believe that they have revised the charges & have directly communicated to the concerned persons .

I dont know why ARY trying to cheat everyone. They have levied charges for late payment which doesnt have any sense. Those who never delayed any payments they still gonna charge them as well.
