Is this in Pattaya Thailand? The thing with holiday resorts I had also wanted to get in Aruba was the vacancy rate is something like 40% per year and the rest of the time is empty same for most places. Is that the case in Pattaya Thailand? What is the rental to vacancy ratio?

How do you manage a place if you do not live around there? Do you? How much was the price?

When you purchase this place. Is that freehold 999 years or ??. Can you explain what is meant by this? I think I know but I would prefer you to explain it. As different countries mean things differently. Let me know

1. Up to 10 years leaseback guaranteed
2. Free Maintenance Charges & Sinking Fund for 1st 2 years (for leaseback only)

Wharfie,

Just curious, but what's your legal status in Thailand? And under what land ownership terms did you buy the bungalow?

ExpatNick.

I think in order to purchase landed property like Bungalow. You need to have a wife who is a Thai.... as my colleague is married to one told me. I might be wrong. Unless there are some ways like business investment, etc...

Hi,
I'm looking to invest in an off plan development called Forest View in Pattaya. Has anyone else looked at this site or bought off plan in the area. Prices are cheap so not huge risk but I would wellcome any responses.
Thanks
