we also bought through MoroccanSands on The Greens. Also saw your site area. After investigating a lot of solicitors we went with Legalex as quite a lot of people recommended them and they are familiar with the issues in Saidia. So far we have been happy but there is a way to go. Good luck and enjoy ur visit. We were very impressed with all we saw.

Excellent list Popcorn!

Just for further info, Birchall Blackburn are solictors for Azur Development / The Greens so for obvious reasons for buying at The Greens dont use them!

I bought on The Greens and used BCP Law Firm. They have been excellent for me and had a number of changes my to my contract, just clarifications really, but at least it shows they're doing something!

I have also used Manzanares & Legalex Group, and have had no problems there.

Default solicitor needed

morning H Boss- That was an extensive list from Popcorn and I tried a few from it. My initial choice was Birchall and Blackburn but when I contacted them they told me they were acting for the developer. Graham hughes had been recommended to me. I suppose cost played a factor in my decision and Legalex offered a fixed price which if things get complicated later on could be useful. 1.% of purchase price. This hasnt meant they have been slow with their service. I have asked lots of questions and had many queiries answered before I exchanged and so far they have been excellant. I rang around got some quotes and went with my gut feeling. I choose a 2 bed ground floor app on The Greens because I liiked the location on site when I went. I was happy with was would be going up around me. I hope to rent out the property and as a mummy with 4 year old twins I know u need the property to appeal to as broard a range of people as possible. I viewed all the sites on Saidia with Joe the sales guy with Moroccan Sands who was great and not at all pushy but still felt The greens was best for what i wanted. When u get there take ur time look at all the options and then come home and decide.

Default M Saidia

Morning gbdahew

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, M. Saidia is amazing. I think it has been well thought out and it reminds me of the time of complexes they build in Florida. Its an all in one resort with a fantastic beach.

I must say you have chosen one of the best developments, The Greens and as you have chosen a two bed property I think you will get a good rental return and a good uplift in the property value.

Thank you so much for all your help and lets keep each other informed if you get any news on the development. I took some pictures, unfortunately it is not of The Greens.

Speak soon

H Boss

They all charge approximately 1% of the purchase price. But do check what that includes as some firms charge extra for say preparing a power of attorney. Also the VAT rate varies - no VAT is applicable on fees from UK firms; 16% VAT for Spanish, 20% for Moroccan and 21% VAT for Irish companies. Most firms will offer discounts for multiple purchases.
