Hi Alison, did you manage to sort out those pictures for me of your kitchen? I have some of the bodge they made on ours if you want to see any! Would you know how we go about getting the money back as the rep in the UK has spoken to them and told them to refund us, but nothing has been forthcoming and then never answer the phone or hang up!

Hi Alison, Message received.com LOL .... This is the problem with booking hotels if you're unsure exactly where they're located. I'm having the same problem with Hurghada for next year. Brochures will claim they're in a certain position and when you get there it's a different story! The Movenpick El Gouna is advertised in a way that suggests its just a short stroll in to downtown, not the case! We stayed at the Hausa Beach in Sharm a few years ago, beautiful hotel but unable to walk anywhere, had to rely on taxi's, although not too much of a problem as taxi's are reasonably cheap. This said, I wouldn't want to be stuck right in the middle of Hurghada town either! Way too busy for me!

Hi Alison, Thanks for the message, I didn't get your original reply so god knows what you did?! LOL Anyway, I went through some that he had pulled off the internet, he left the final decision in my hands!!! The Melia Sinai had very good reports on the holiday forums and I've advised him to go for that one. I did come across another new website whilst doing my search, 118travel.co.uk have you heard of it? It's quite reasonable prices and very easy site to use. Thanks again, Suzanne
