Default Sunset beach club Casablanca

For those of you who have not been down to this area, my Inspection trip was Great, done with Ben from Saffron Villas. The area is lovely and I feel a really good investment as the Casino hotel Kerzner project is a few miles down the road.

I bought two apartments a beach front penthouse for my self and investment and a penthouse further back just for rental and long term investment.

I think this area is a new great area and personnaly better than the Tangier area.
What does anyone elase think?

Default Sunset Beach Club

Hi Lady In Red,

2 penthouses eh, very nice. I have just been in contact with Saffron who have kindly sent me info on Beach Club. As I have already bought in Colina Smir, Kabilla but budget is limited for the time being. Therefore, may be interested in the 'Garden' phase. How did you find the overall service that Saffron offered? Could they answer all of your questions, and if not did they know where to look for the answer.

I have not visited Cassablanca or it's surrounding area. You seem to love it. Are there amenities within the locality, golf clubs, restaurants, shops, medical etc? What do you think of Casablanca? I plan to travel there soon but would appreciate your thoughts.

Rgds,

Phil

Default hello phil

Hi, Saffron were very very helpful, they seem to know Morocco very well and I understand that because they specialise, all the staff there are knowledeable. They were not pushy or agressive which i liked, as lone woman buyer.

Ben did the inspection trip and the area around the resort is lovely with some very good beaches. I really enjoyed El Jadida and the Royal Gold Course close by. Casablanca is a very busy town with lots of bad drivers, but i got quite a buzz from it.

The hotel where Saffron put me up was first class and I was very well looked after by Ben who was extremely knowlegeable, about not just Casablanca but the whole of Morocco.

I also put in an enquiry to Mac Anthony, but they have pestered me non stop and were very agressive, so I will not be using them again.

I am also looking at other destinations to bump up my pension.

my concern with this one is I have asked all the agents selling this can I have the details for the developers yes they say presidential developments but how about the address for this company they all refuse what is there concern? they dont mind giving it for Fadesa or others so this concerns me a search for this company on google returns nothing again a concern.

I dont buy any property on a whim I need firm info to proceed so who is this presidential and how can we check them out at least?

Hi all,

I also have reserved in Sun Set Beach with Saffron Villas. I found them to be very helpful and conducted business in a relaxed manner compared to some other agencies I have been in contact with.

Flip: The question about the developer is a good one and I will try and get an answer and let you know.

One thing that I expect with Sun Set Beach is that the investment will take longer to mature due to the development being in an undeveloped area and infastructure such as motorways and casino are still a few years down the line to completion. Compared to Saidia or espiecially the Tangiers area where there is already a well established tourist area in the summer.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

Apexsyle

Smile Sunset beach developers

I have spoken to Nicola at Saffron who tells me one developer is a dutchman, the other two are Moroccan and one is a director of a Moroccan bank and the other one is the architect.
They do not have their own web site as they are leaving saffron Villas to deal with all enquiires.

Nicola, told me they are one of the best developers they deal with.
They e-mailed me the title deeds.
So I feel comfortable with them as well.
More so than others I have looked and I am very picky

Default The Company

I have also visited the Sunset Beach development and liked the area. I have made a reservation in the garden sector. I shared the concern about the construction company who do not seem to have any background or track record. If I could see some example of their previous projects that would give me some confidence. Buying off plan is risky enough without an unknown construction company adding to the uncertainty. Before I sign I need to know if 'Presidential' have done anything like this before. Safrons Villas tell me then have done their due diligence on the developers, but is this enough?

Default President Developers

When I was on my inspection trip I asked many many questions to Ben some he could answer and some he said he would get back to me, which he did.
If you all have the brochure there are plenty of details of Presdents other developments and I specificaly asked to look at a finished site to see the quality. I visited The ensemble Residential complex Yasmin in Eljadida, which was of a very good design and with hig quality finishes.
The construction company details are in the brochure and they have worked on various project including the Sheraton, in Marrakech, this is all in the brochure.

I also called Nicola to aske about the details of the developers and all addresses and names are on the contract.

I also have a Moroccan contact, in Casablanca, an English man who works in the finance sector in Casa. He checked out the names in the brochure for me and the the architect and the banker are held in very high regard in the area and are well known in the very reputable networking scene in Casa. The third director is a Dutch man and he works in the finance sector and he will be the project manager and he is the one who will be offering the mortgages.
His web site is Home amd there are photos of all three directors on this site.

I am sorry to go on a bit but as a single woman who is investing a rather substantial amount of money, I wanted to do my own due dilgence and as I said in a previous e-mail am happy with my research.
Perhaps if everyone read the brochure , as I did, all the information that one needs to assess is in there, if not do as I did and ask!!!
