Site will definately now be Essouira and the inspection trips are planned now for January 4th and onwards. Details will be sent to clients who have reserved over the next week. Approved plans are available and I shall be looking at them over the next two weeks. Anyone interested in more details for now and as and when I get them, please PM me.

I think the resort will be approx 30 miles SW of Essouira - I'd post a link to a google map - but being a lowly <20 post newbie, I'm not allowed...

I believe the apartments will be facing West on the long beach - and the other hotels etc will be South facing above the cliffs just below where it says Dr. Cheikh Taguent on the map.

The river estuary will be part of the development...

Of course, I may be totally wrong.... but this is my understanding...

Whats everyones views on this complex now that the site has been secured?
Does the location put people off?
Whats your views on buying until the build is completed then selling on?
Any other views would be appreciated as am looking to invest in this very soon before the discount ends.

Hi All,
I am new here, but saw this thread and had to comment.

We went out to marocco on holiday over christmas and NY. We stayed in Essouria for 10nts and hired a car to drive the coast down past Agadir for a few extra nts. Before we went I found royal maroc and we wanted to check it out while we were there. All details we had was that the development was near Essaouria at Tafadra. We couldn't see any movement there at all. There is a huge golf course project right outside essaouria which looks great but no idea of the name.
However, the coast from agadir to essaouria is definately the place to invest. Lots of sleepy towns with developers moving in. People want to get out of agadir and an hour or so away there is lots of potential.
Royal Maroc looks solid to me and returns are great.
We put down 1000 reservation and recieved a letter last week confirming that project documents and master plan have been approved at all levels.
Full steam ahead? Maybe.
we're still in though.
