I invested in macca with a local agent and it’s brilliant. Its about 700 meters from the haram and its 5 star. 20% return on occupancy but i think it will be more then that. I have a friend who I grew up with and he now studies in macca umm al qura university and he was saying that they will be demolishing a lot of the hotels and extending the haram so basically the hotels that are about 650 meters will become very close to the haram.
