Default Property Investment Overseas still rosy!!

This time last year, we did not even know what a credit crunch was. Now, the term laces every property conversation, along with widespread apprehension over just how far its insidious tentacles will stretch.

However investment in overseas property still remains a good bet to put your money on. One place largely overlooked until recently is Cape Verde, the West African islands an hour’s flight from the Canaries. It has responded quickly to demand from investors with more direct flights, new airports and mortgage products. Prices were up 20 per cent last year, with the same expected of 2008. The quality of the properties is improving and the islands offer great value for money,

The year was less than rosy for Mainland Spain, whose money-laundering mayors, land-grabbing developers and coastal over-pricing and over-supply dented confidence and brought the property market to a near standstill. That said, high quality destinations such as the Canary Islands remains a safe bet.

Have to say anything with polaris world seams to sell like hot cakes.

Doesnt seam to matter that the resorts are in the middle of nowhere or the infrastructure is lacking. Put a Eur88K price tag on it sells it self.

Think personally the time is to go back to the costa del sol for bargin hunting
