Default tunisia..

i would say if you can buy in sidi bou said, you are buying a top piece of real estate...beautiful there!

next best is the resort of port al kantoui..sorry if spelling is wrong..beautiful finished resort with resales available...also there is a agent there selling off plan developments a bit further down the coast...

Thanks Rossanthony,

I have been offered partnership with a developer.

In your opinion is it a good investment? Will it attract end users to buy their second homes there?

Default tough question!

i found tunisia beautiful..nicer than egypt where i live...most moroccon builder/brokers have chosen egypt..as their next location..

i guess the biggest block to uk buyers is language...what with it being french and all...thats what i thought whilst out there...

obviously location, budget, etc...i would need to know about the development before i could give an opinion..

these days we have to work very hard to attract the end user..

if the product and more importantly the package is good then everywhere is good!

you may want to look at flight data and hotel resort occupancy figures to give you an idea of possible market share..

Default where in tunisia?

no idea in tunisia. although i seem to remember they were quite expensive..mainly down to the fact that the market there is rich french/french afo-arabic........

the other popular areas are hammamet and monastir...

i found this website..the only one i could find, no prices either...

and the most ill chosen name foa a company

in spain folla is the f-word!!

real estate in tunisia luxury villas for sale and apartment APARTMENTS

here in egypt starting prices are 15k...

Default Well done Rossantony

As a matter of fact the researching the Tunisian property market is quite a feat. No prices, no decent pictures, no decent websites etc...

What surprises me is that Lybia is being mentioned quite often in forums and personally i would have some reservations buying there but maybe i am missing something and need to be enlighted

I browsed your site and quite frankly i think that Tunisia is no match for Egypt especially at those prices. Bye bye to my friendly Developer in Tunis and hey guys i am looking for a new job...can travel, own company and extremely hard worker...

Default on thread..

yes working in tunis would be hard, if you are a non french speaker..

libya is doing the rounds..considering its regime and history, there is definite potential for economic growth..

i dont see many westerners wanting to board planes there for a week in the sun though..

the main middle eastern countries whose reforms are promoting growth are:

Dubai - unrivalled willingness to go for the $$
Egypt - socio-political reforms implemented 5 years ago have resulted in 7% GDP growth last year
Qatar - a wealth of energy resources, including natural gas, new business cities and a desire to emulate the dubai success is promoting growth in Qatar

Depending on your field of expertise there are jobs here in egypt. However it is in my opinion better to start your own business here rather than work for others.

salaam
