I'm new here, and you guys are pretty smart, but there are maybe a few beginners who don't know about the-world-factbook. It gives a very quick overview of almost every country in the world: the economy, the people, the weather, the government.

It's a valuable resource if you are considering a foreign country.

I am assuming I can't post URLs, but the world factbook comes up on Google.

It's a dot gov and not a dot com address.

Hi Oregon Woodsmoke...

Use the Cia WorldFactbook on a regular basis...always useful. Are you aware of the Global Property Guide? Also useful basic guide. There are several others but I don't have time right now to enter the complete list!!!
