Connecting to sewerage system in Castro Marim

Dear all
I am in the process of buying a house in the Castro Marim area of the Algarve. The property has electricity and water but needs to be connected to the sewerage system. Does anyone know how i go about this? or how i find out where the nearest sewerage pipes are. The house is on a main road in a small town.
