Planning to move to QATAR

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me. My boyfriend and I (soon to be married) are looking at work in the middle east. He was born in Qatar but is a kiwi and lived there as a young child so we have some idea of what it would be like to live there. I am an English teacher with experience and he is a newspaper editor but has also worked as a journalist and has other associated skills. What are the chances of both of us finding work and what sort of time frame should we be looking at in terms of job applications documentation etc?
