Question Promoting Other Forums

i thought the internet was not screened or censord.
what gives the right to anyone to censor what info we send to each other?
I do not understand why the mebers of these forums are being used as pawns in the moderators childish problems with each other

All forums have rules, it's not about censorship or being childish. We're trying to be professional.
A few months ago I inadvertently, mentioned this forum on another and my post was deleted! I think you'll find that if you mention totally property in a positive light on the forum you were talking about, it too would be deleted.

Im sorry but how on earth can you say in one sentence you are being professional and then say in another that posts are being deleted because the other forum do the same.People come to these forums because they can offer invaluable advice, not just from those chosen to moderate but also from fellow users offering their experiences.I think in light of recent events there is a danger that this tit for tat of removing posts is damaging this brilliant forum.

I didn't say that posts were being deleted because other forums do the same. I said that all forums have rules - this one, the one that deleted mine and the one that you're talking about. It's really not a matter of tit for tat. There's probably not a property forum online that is happily promoting similar forums

I accept all forums have to have rules,& i accept that anything that is posted that puts this forum in a bad light has no place here & deserves to be removed. The problem i have is that yesterday i had a post removed for using the words "other forum",in no way was i promoting any other forum or indeed damaging the good name of this forum.I dont think im alone in thinking that perhaps posts are being removed perhaps a little heavy handedly at times but i appreciate your time taken for answering my posts.

You're welcome.

I think yours was next to another post giving a direct link to the forum of which you spoke so they were both deleted. Promise it's nothing personal
