I would just like to say hello to everyone here, and introduce myself.
I work for Andalucian Dream Homes in Sabinillas on the Costa Del Sol.
If there is anything I can do to help fellow members please do not hesitate to ask.
Best Wishes and may the sun shine down on you all

Steve

I have just seen your other posts. The house for sale, is it in Alhaurin el Grande?
If so have you tried Ideal Country Property in Alhaurin.

Ctra de Cartema, Alhaurin el Grande.
They are members of the I.N. network as are Andalucian Dream Homes so the listing will be seen by around thirty five agents
Good Luck

Hi to all, my first time on this site.
We are buying an apartment in San Pedro de Pinatar, Murcia, due to complete this Summer. We have property in the UK but this is or first foray into Spain. So, all assistance/advice welcome.
Anyone else buying there?

No , but it is a nice location and long term it should turn out a good buy
What is the name of your development?
Make sure that you do not complete without a Licence of First Occupation [ Habitation Licence]...when you have this [ and the other legal permits] it means that you have a legal property because the builder has complied with all the planning and building regulations....pool working, roads complete etc
If you do not have a HL it means that you can not connect to main services
Now in the past many completed without one and then had ' free builders water and electric'...that is the old days!!!
For most developments it was just a delay before you got the HL....but for some it was a long time!!!!
If you need a mortgage you will not get one without the HL....so what is good for the banks is good for you if you are paying cash!

Even if you occupy the property before the HL [ which is an option often given] pay ' no more money' until you get it
In 2008 it is a good time to buy but it also a turning point for Spain......and you have to make sure that everything is ' correct'
