Default Using a rental property as a b&b

Can anyone advise me about using a rental property as a b&b?

I know it sounds cheeky, and people on the site who rent out properties may be chewing their pencils to stubs.
Having read a lot on here about some dishonest lawyers and estate agents, and getting rather scared about investing what little we have in a property that might have undeclared debt on it, or a thousand other things that would financially cripple us.

Is it worth asking landlords can we do this?

Not that we are!!!!
Or would do!!!

But a little bit of b&b might help us.
Thanks
Mathew

I believe you have to be properly registered to run a B&B business. To run it from someone else?s rented property, I'd hazard a guess that they wouldn't be too interested in letting you do it.

If I were your landlord I'd tell you to take a hike

There are dishonest people in all countries. As long as you work on referrals and make sure the people you use are independent, buying a property in Spain need not be as bad as you think. You only hear of the horror stories, not of all the purchases that went perfectly well.
Thanks
Keegan
