Love - beaches, coffee, laid back
Hate - service, workers in shops can stand talking to each other than rather serve a client.

Love - sidewalk cafes, laid back attitude, weather, laughing, eating fresh food, light days in winter, lots of sun and sand
Hate - professional people being late for appointments, being told what you can't do instead of what you can do (accountants, lawyers, bankers) then letting you do it anyway, no processes

Love the weather (I'm from Scotland!), love the seafood, love the fact there's no traffic. Hate the lack of customer service

Hate: Golf courses - nature parks for all to use would be better use of the land
Brits who bring their 'Victor Meldrew' attitude to Spain

Love: Costa calida area as long as they stop building NOW!

Been in Spain 15 years and things have changed - Not always for the better.

Everywhere has pros and cons, you just need to work out if the pros outweigh the cons, and for me personally in Spain this is true!

And I love the beach bars!!!
