Turkish people will not pay £89,000 or £80,000 for that matter.

Have you read the thread about the new law? You cannot sell to NON-TURKS, IT IS ILLEGAL. Although, no one knows how long this situation will last, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year....???

Property prices are already falling.

Have you read the Fethiye Times recently and why do all the estate agents close as it is not Turkish people buying the apartments. As for the fall in property price we bought of Hanel Houses their empty apartments last year were £81.075 now they are £89,000. Sorry I am not on this forum to argue.

No neither am I here to argue. I was merely trying to point out the legal situation now as I understand it. Apologies if my post came across as argumentative that was NOT the intention. I guess it was borne from frustration as I am just about to complete on a 2-bed apartment in Akbuk. Myself and my family are going to Turkey in about 2 weeks with the intention of furnishing the property but I am not really sure what is going to happen now, we haven't got any Tapus as although we have now paid 100% of the price the complex is on schedule to finish about now.

I have not read the Fethiye Times but would be interested to, do you have a link?

Can I ask, are you selling because you need to or just because you want to?

Best of luck.

There are a lot of people guessing regarding the new Turkiye Property laws to foreigners,I have heard 'very soon' 'this month'' ''next month' .I have also heard july mentioned,

Yes there are a lot of Turkish estate agents closing, and yes there are a lot of future clients with property to sell or buy .

Yogi and tylerbabe please do not panic .I have been a member of this forum from day one, 'Admin can confirm this,' My advice to you both and future buyers is not panic ..If you both need any help regarding selling or buying feel free to contact via a pm,

There are are a many good agents in Turkiye, who are 'NOT' closing there doors, it is 3 am and mine is still open.

Why was thread been re opened!! it was started 21-08-2006,!!

I can honestly say 90% of our customers receive either on or very shortly after 3 months

Tylerbabe military clearance takes approximately 3 to 4 months, was there a reason you waited 3 years for your tapu.!

Did you have a notary signed contract with your agent/ devoloper.!
