i am considering buying an off plan in the Izmir area,
we are keen sailors and this would seem a good place for a base to cruse the med. we hope to get summer rental and use the villa as our winter base for repairs etc.
what are your thoughts of the area. any recomendations.
as izmir is a big city we feel it will have a year round potential.

You can think on Cesme which is famous with luxury and stone houses, Yenifoca,Urla which are quite and calm seaside towns and residential places like Didim, Bodrum..
All these places have a nice climate and clean sea so it has a big potential for rental investments for permanent living owners.Cesme and Bodrum have their marinas and Didim will be ready in two years for cruise tours..
