We allow 90 days but in most cases we have in after 60 days, our price for this is included in the price of the property , but I dont think it is any where near 500, we find a lot of agents us this as a excuse for delays when there is more that likley delays on there part, or they dont have the rights to sell it in the first place. Put preusure on them as much as you can , dont fall for any charm.
Dunney.

Dunney, you have added the fee on top of the house price,!

A delay in Military Permission is nothing to do with agents,!

Have a good look at the solicitor they some times go the other party, you are a walking wallet in ther eys, dont forget that. All contracts should state all payments and if you are paying this much money for a villa, why dont they have all this included in the price. Sunny Days is right beware be very aware. Try do deal with companies that have all of this in hand no delays no extra charges all in the contract in your language, if they cant do this, walk out!.

thanks for info so what i had asumed is that there would be a standard charge for military costs like getting a visa.
the fees i have been quoted are £1200 for uk solisiter specalising in international property with turkish speaking staff and £500 for military costs from the developer. all other costs except 1.5% tax are included IE: electricty, water.

Majika,

£1.200,for a solicitor,How many propertys are you buying,!

Why did you not use a local Turkish lawyer.!

Majika First you said,

Quote:
the seller is quoting to do the Military Permission and is charging £500+VAT
Then secondly,

Quote:
the fees i have been quoted,my solicitor given the price
Who exactly gave you these figures,

majika,
You have aready stated once you are looking at considering buying an off plan in the Izmir area,

Thats why i have deleted the company name from your second post,

I went back and looked at your first mail,

Quote:
hi everyone
i am considering buying an off plan in the Izmir area,
we are keen sailors and this would seem a good place for a base to cruse the med. we hope to get summer rental and use the villa as our winter base for repairs etc.what are your thoughts of the area. any recomendations.
as izmir is a big city we feel it will have a year round potential.
Your considering buying a Turkish property, and you have not learned nothing about the company you are buying off,!!

Can i be so bold to ask how you found this company, was it by research or did you see them on the internet,

You need a qoute from another lawyer, Then i suggest you reply to the pm's i have recently sent you,

you asked "Your considering buying a Turkish property, and you have not learned nothing about the company you are buying off,!!"
what makes you think i no nothing about them.
i am hear asking about them as one part of my dew diligance.
as i have in many other areas.
but i thank you for the info that you have given
i came hear to chat about what we are considering and hope to get some feed back to our questions but is a shame that you seem to want to tell me of for things that you think i have not done.
