Exclamation A good investment - Belek and Side?

As a new member I would like to express my gratitude for the valued information others members have contributed - it serves to research every available avenue and I feel this forum outshines any other media.

I have read with interest medseA's comments with regards to the Government investment into the Belek/Side area as the new face of Turkey.

My situation is that I am looking at investing in an off-plan 1 bed apartment in the Side-Kumkoy area within a complex of max 30 apartments. The floor area is at least 39sqm at the cost of less than £30k but the spec is of a very high standard (there is a previous development that testifies to this)

I feel the development ticks the boxes as a property but I am somewhat in a dilemma as to the rental market in Side.

Is Side becoming over saturated with developments and consequently overstretching itself in the rental market? or would the injection of Government investment oversee a boom within the area?

This of course is speculation but I am finding it hard to attain concrete and worthwhile evidence of the local investments (road improvements/altanya airport expansion/golf developments) that i hear rumoured.

Could anyone point out some worthwhile sites that detail the above or provide first hand experience of this area.

Many thanks in anticipation

Good evening, we are an agent based in the UK and Turkey - if you wish to look around our site or possibly wish to request a brochure, then please feel free. Our name is hte login, I would like to feel we do not offer a pressurized environment but offer a wide range of knowledge and product through the areas of Belek and Side. I would have to say that we find the region of Side quite popular at the present moment, and I also feel the region of Belek is good value when compared to the other golfing centres in Europe ..i.e. Spain and Portugal. If there is anything we can do for you then please feel free to ask.

Belek is fantastic for golfing holidays - more than a dozen top class courses and superb hotels, which cater for families and non-golfers as well.

However, package holidays are such good value (lots of hotels are all-inclusive) that I feel the market for self-catering rental accommodation will be limited.

In terms of Side as an investment, Side has now proved not to be as popular as it used to be, this due to having property in Belek a few minutes from the over 15 golf courses.
Investors purchasing in Belek have more chance of later rental possibilities and selling in the future due to Golfers wanting to be close to the many golf courses we have here in Belek.

If you have any queries regarding Belek or would like any advice feel free to contact myself.
