Yes it is! but this gets me to specify my question again - are sales to Turkish companies frozen? If not then can i set up a Turkish company and buy the property though it since it will be a local entity?

All sales to foreigners across the country were frozen under the directive issued by the Land Registry General Directorate of the Public Works Ministry since the Constitutional Court ruling went into effect on Wednesday.

Bill on foreign property sale ‘to pass soon’

Tapus will not be issued

Why not just hang on the new law will be issued very shortly

Because there will still be a 2-6 month wait for military clearance which i thought was not necessary if buying through a Turkish Limited Company?

Yogi
You'll still be able to holiday as planned. You just cannot collect your deeds (assuming that they are ready for collection) until the suspension is lifted. If your deeds are not ready for collection yet, then you'll have to wait longer than normal.
No, the suspension does not affect foreign companies only. It applies to all foreign buyers (while it is in place).
Enjoy your holiday

İt says clearly property sales to foreigners came to a halt, 'not suspended.'

As soon as the Turkish Government announces the new buying laws, they will be published in the Turkish online Newspaper the Turkey Herald ..

Some of us are very busy at weekends .
