Default RAK v Dubai

I keep hearing the word RAK more and more often with many new projects being introduced there and prices on the cheaper side compared to Dubai. Is it just me or is RAK up and coming as a new investment spot to look out for???!

Could it be compared to Dubai in any way or shape in terms of price improvements?

Advice would be much appreciated guys.

Rak is definitely up and coming and there is a definite boom over there.
You cant really compare Rak to Dubai as they are both different from each other but yes you can see that a good growth in capital values is going to happen - similar to the way it has risen in Dubai.
But I believe that Dubai is always going to be more expansive in term of property prices.
I will definitely recommend investing in rak, but please make sure you are buying the right developments in the key locations, as this will be effecting your capital growth.
I have few clients who I recommended some property in Rak and they already had 15% growth on their investments in a very short time.
You can do it as well

Thanks Erez for advice

I was looking at projects on Al Marjan island - however as I have not yet made any investments in Dubai, my concern was that few years down the line, I regret why I left Dubai for RAK if Dubai prices go rocket high

what is my thinking on Dubai V RAK is they are both Holiday destinations
Dubai is Shoping Holidays & RAK relaxing why

Dubai have Great shoping Malls & RAK have unspoiled beaches they both together are great
beafor so many Islands in Dubai had both choice but not now there is hardly any beach is unspoiled
Dubai have stop and look at Spain for over-devalopments of beach propeties

hi there

well Dubai is not just a holiday destination.it is prime service industriy.its free zones has attracted more than 5000 international companies.people r coming to work n settle there.RAK is definately good option for people who want to diversify away from Dubai.RAK's resell market is not tried n tested.dubai is like any major international city London Paris New york with its high n modern living standard n unlimited opportunities.Dubai is definately the first choice.

it is all a question of your Budget to where to invest , if you decide to get out you can always resell, as long as you bought the right investment in Rak or Dubai

I think RAK should benefit and see rising values as the the effect from Dubai
ripples out into the neighbouring Emitates.

The conditions that caused the boom in Dubai are also begining to emerge in RAK.

I also understand that a railway line connecting the Emirates is also in planning, and that will make the journes from Dubai to RAK much faster.

Anyway, needless to say I have already invested.
