Default UK property & nationality
Hello everyone.

First of All let me compliment about the website that it is such a nice concept and a very informative website.
My husband and I are planning to move from Kuwait to Ireland. I would appreciate if anyone can solve the following queries of mine:
1. being a foreign national am I allowed to purchase property in Ireland?
2. If I have a baby, will my child get an Irish nationality
hope someone answers me soon.

Hi, I live in Ireland, and I can help u answer your queries, as for number 1: yes foreign nationals can purchase property in Ireland, and 2: since the motion passed in 2003, any foreign national children born in Ireland will NOT get Irish citizenship, one of the reasons we try to keep Ireland Irish if u get me.
