Default Planning to go to London in 2009

Hi,

I am planning on moving to London in March of 2009 after I get my masters degree. in Business Management/Marketing. I know it seems like a long way to start planning a move, but I have others to think about. I am married and currently have a 21 month old son. Once I move he will be almost five and ready to start school that fall. I just wanted to know if somebody could give me some information on the schools over there. I have looked at several different companies that I have considered for employment. My ultimate career choice has always been corporate retail. I did two summer internships for GAP in San Francisco and got a job promise from them. However my dream has always been to move and raise my family in England. If someone could tell me of some corporations like GAP that are based in or around London I would greatly appreciate it. I have looked into Harrods already, but I wanted to know what others were there. Thank you
Thanks
Zackery

Not from England sorry, Scotland but just wanted to say that planning now is the right idea, I didn?t and now running like a headless chicken!

I think that you will find all the big names are in London such as Harrods, and Armani to name only a couple and yes there will definitely be a GAP.

Perhaps a reference from GAP in the area you worked would stand you in good favour over here and then once over the world is your oyster so to speak.
Thanks
Trent
