Estate managers, service charges and accountability

Hi folks,

Queery for those folks who have been in the same boat.

I live in a newly built estate, and there is a management company to oversee (

) the maintenance.

What can a resident do it they feel costs have not been allocated correctly and that they are subsidising the majority of occupants for services they do not require?

Is the only option to appeal to the better nature of the oh-so-helpful management?

There isn't a resident comittee, and if there was I (and people with the same interests) would be in the minority, I think something like ~ 3:50
