Felt I wanted to start this post because I am seeing a pattern of folks advising me that I'm not going to find a decent house in the Uk for less than 300k. My budget is 120K and so I thought I'd mail this link...

Yes the houses are smaller that a US one for the price but they are well maintained and Rushden/Higham Ferrers is where I am looking at because it is where I am from and I know it doesn't have many rough areas I also know it really well as far as what school it's near etc.- I have lots of friends back home and visited last a year ago. So everyone who really wants to move back but is scared of the prices- there is good stuff out there you don't have to live in a box in a terrible area!!!

Try not to go near them! I thought you were serious about the moving to CDA bit. It's become a hot spot because of the beautiful lake etc, but what people don't realize is how rife meth is there- guess it's another example of silly folks (I put myself in this bracket) moving somewhere and then realizing where they were from was just fine!
